Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Head to oversee and manage the organizations end-to-end financial operations, accounting processes, compliance framework, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, and international financial operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across multiple geographies.
This role will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with Indian statutory requirements, managing cross-border financial transactions, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com with CA Inter (preferred) or MBA / PGDM in Finance
- Fully qualified CA / CMA (ICWA) candidates will be highly preferred
- CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates may also be considered based on relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial closing activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and internal processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory obligations.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities for statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and maintain compliance documentation.
3. Global Financial Operations
- Handle cross-border financial transactions and intercompany accounting across international entities such as India, Dubai, and Singapore.
- Support financial operations related to global business transactions and international regulatory compliance.
- Exposure to US financial processes, taxation, or accounting frameworks will be considered an added advantage.
4. Audit & Regulatory Management
- Lead and coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and financial due diligence processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, financial consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial reporting standards.
5. Financial Planning & Reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare financial reports, management dashboards, and performance analysis for leadership review.
- Identify areas for cost optimization and financial efficiency improvements.
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team, ensuring high performance and adherence to processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as HR, Sales, and Operations for financial planning and decision support.
- Work closely with senior leadership and management to provide financial insights for strategic planning.
Candidate Profile
- 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and compliance management.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Experience working in multi-entity or international business environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working in IT / ITES / technology organizations.
- Exposure to international accounting practices and global financial operations.
- Experience managing multi-country financial compliance and reporting.
